WHAT IS UNICEF

• UNICEF was created in 1946 at the UN General Assembly
• The United Nations Children's Fund relies on contributions from donors
• UNICEF is focused on helping mothers and children in developing countries
• UNICEF has been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1965

• UNICEF works toward the attainment of human development and peace
• UNICEF has many partners, ranging from the private to the public sector
• UNICEF is part of the United Nations Development Group

THE CAMPAIGN

With the end of the year on it's way UNICEF hopes to create a successful new campaign to raise funds to fight famine in Africa.

The campaign consists of partnering up with prominent food companies to print special seals on some food genres, of which 50% of the price you pay go towards fighting hunger in Africa.
