Projectile motion is when the only force acting upon an object is gravity.

If you were to shoot a bullet on Earth gravity would eventually win the battle. If you were to shoot a bullet in the zero gravity conditions of space, the bullet would travel at a constant velocity forever, unless impeded by an outside force.

A satellite is anything that orbits something larger than itself. With this being said the Earth is a satellite of the sun, and the moon is a satellite of the Earth. We have to put satellites we build in orbit.

An orbit is essentially something that is constantly falling, but without gravity to make it fall it floats in an orbit around Earth.
