• The united stated created and modified this celebration in the USA
• During this holiday we celebrate the Hispanic heritage and culture
• We celebrate this month because we like to bring different culture to America
• Everyone usually Hispanic celebrates this month

• I think this celebration is important because in USA everyone should be able to celebrate their own culture no matter where your from

ROMEO SANTOS

• I found Romeo santos to be important to the Hispanic heritage month because he brought hip-hop and bachata together and created amazing music
• At the age of 13 Romeo santos always found music to be very interesting. He grew up in Bronx, New York but has a family from a Dominican and Puerto Rican decent.
• He got him and his friends together and created a band called aventura
• His friends names were Lenny, Mickey, and his cousin Henry.

• Everybody in Bronx, New York found their music to be very interesting.
• They came out with their first hit single in 1997
• The song was called "obsession"

• Romeo santos is a role model for young adults because he came from complete nothing...
• .... To one of the worlds greatest bachata singers.
• He never gave up on what he loved and he kept trying to follow his dreams.

• Romeo accomplished what he always had a passion for
• He did not care what people had to say about him or his band
• Everyday he would sit in his room and write songs that came to him

AVENTURA

• After their hit single "obsession" came out many many music businesses contacted them
• They kept coming out with more songs such as "dile a amor" and "el malo"

• ...to follow your dreams because that is what he did. That's why...

• I recognize him for his amazing talent and for proving to everyone that no matter how..
• .....poor or young you are you can do whatever you want
• That is why I think Romeo santos is important to the Hispanic heritage month
