- On December 5th, 1933 the 21st Amendment was ratified and Prohibition ended. This day is known as Repeal Day.
- In order to enforce the 18th Amendment, the National Prohibition Act, more commonly known as Volstead Act was passed.
- The date of the Prohibition Era years in the United States was from 1920 to 1933.
- Some states refused to enforce Prohibition.
- Drug stores continued selling alcohol as “medicine.”
