GEORGE WASHINTON

1789-1797
George Washington was the first president of the United States of America. Him being the first president impacted the United States a lot. The main things he did while in office is he did not want a special name just mr, president. He only served 2 terms. One main conflict George Washington had to deal with was the conflict of

JOHN ADAMS

1797- 1801
John Adams was the second president of the united sates. He severed from 1797 to 1801 the main conflict John Adams had during his presidency was that he had to pick sides between Britain and France. He was a part of the xyz affair.

THOMAS JEFFERSON

1801-1809
Thomas Jefferson was the 3rd president. The main thing Thomas Jefferson did during his presidency was make the purchase of the Louisiana purchase. One of the main conflicts Jefferson had to deal with was the war between England and France.

JAMES MADISON

1809-1817
James Madison was the 4th president of the United States. His major conflict he had was the war of 1812. The war was against Great Britain James Madison did win.

JAMES MONROE

1817-1825
James Monroe. His main conflict he had to deal with in office was the Monroe doctrine. He was the 5th president of the United States. He severed from 1817 to 1825.

JOHN QUINCY ADAMS

1825-1829
John quicy Adams was the 6th president of the United States the major thing he did was made the tariff of abominations witch goal was to protect domestic manufacturing. It was known as the American system.

ANDREW JACKSON

1829-1837
Andrew Jackson a major conflict he dealt with was the Indians. He pushed the Cherokee Indians to the west and took everything from them. He also got rid of the second Bank of America. The Indian removal act became known as the Nullification crisis. The main thing he did was the Indian removal act.
