This short story is about a design studio which is closely associated with the highly successful German car company.

The "Porsche Design" was established by Ferdinand Alexander Porsche, grandson of the Porsche AG founder, and designer of the iconic sports car Porsche 911, in 1972 in Schtuttgard, Germany.
He enjoyed a reputation as a functionalist.
“If you analyse the function of an object, its form often becomes obvious.” was his belief of design work. >>


Design must be functional and functionality must be translated into visual aesthetics, without any reliance on tricks that have to be explained.

So far, the Porsche Design Studio has received more than 170 national and international awards.

The products are sold worldwide in flagship stores, franchise stores, shop-in-shops and high-end department stores and all of them have a localized personality so that global consumers are not visiting duplicates. And it continues to expand globally,
from seven Porsche Design's stores in 2004 to more than 122 by 2013.
