WASHINGTON POST 8/29/18

HUMANS HAVE CHANGED THE OCEANS

  • A study shows that there is a very small part in the ocean that is untouched by humans.
  • Only thirteen percent (one tenth) is wild
  • This isn’t a thing from the past it’s still a problem here and now.

  • Humans are damaging our oceans.
  • Fishing, polluting, shipping and global warming are the main causes.
  • Wild parts of the ocean are disappearing fast.
  • We depend on the oceans for food and water.
