HOW TO PRESENT

• For the first person sing. use the first part
• For the rest take the second part
• Get rid of the -re
• Add the endings

Endings of present

• The 1st person is the 1st part of verb for sing
• The 1st person is -mus for plural
• The 2nd person is -s for sing, -tis for plural
• The 3rd person is -t for sing, -nt for plural

Examples: porto, portare

• Porto           Portamus
• Portas          Portatis
• Portat          Portant

WEIRD VERBS

• Some verbs are weird
• If it ends in a short ere you replace the e
• An i takes it's place for everything but 3rd plural
• The u takes the e's place in 3rd plural

Example: Traho, Trahere

• Traho           Trahimus
• Trahis           Trahitis
• Trahit           Trahunt

How It translates

• I am ____ing
