  • Meaningful and coherent lessons
  • Innovative ideas
  • Encouragement
  • Classroom management
1. Coming together and creating a universal lesson plan, incorporating two teaching styles, may sound messy. If done right, students get ten times the information.

2. By doing this, students gain knowledge from not one, but two teachers. This way they learn more than ever.

3. Having a collaborative teacher around allows one to bounce ideas off another. This gets all of the kinks worked out, and creative juices flowing. Resulting in a better flowing lesson.

4. Another teacher can offer encouragement when needed. This is increasingly important, especially for new teachers.

5. Having more than one teacher around creates a more manageable classroom. Now there are two people to help students and watch over students.

RESPONAIBILITIES

  • Encourage listening
  • Be open to new ideas
  • Be honest
  • Be as helpful as possible
  • Encourage participation
1. Listening should be encouraged from both students and other teachers.

2. Listen to every new idea fully, before giving opinions. Be willing to try something new.

3. If something is not working, or could be done differently, be honest.

4. Be helpful in the classroom, as well as when making lesson plans.

5. Encourage student participation during class, but be sure to include the other teacher in your lesson.
