  • Women with manufacturing jobs were rare
  • Working women were rare, and were found generally in impoverished households.
  • Debut: Women began working around the 1920's as a result of the Great Depression
  • The decrease in woman workers occured in 1950 when family life was emphasized by the society.

  • Skiing in Colorado was very popular with local families.
  • In Vale, annual Christmas fesitvals were held for local citizens and their families.
  • Debut: Skiing was popular during 1953-present.

  • Debut: Cheese production debuted in Mathon county in 1950.
