POLICE: AGENTS OF LAW & ORDER

  • Police will be the foundation for law enforcement. Within the police force there will be different levels and agencies responsible for preventing crime.

POLICE: AGENTS OF LAW & ORDER

  • County police will be responsible for smaller crimes in that county, while state police would then be responsible for all crimes within the state. Federal police would be responsible for the most serious in the country

STRUCTURE OF POLICE DEPARTMENT

  • Within the police department there will be different levels.
  • In each of those levels, there would be two chief police officers.
  • One would be the head of police patrolling and going out into the community.
  • The other would be the head of paperwork and investigating duties.

ELEMENTS PRESENT AT AN ARREST

  • Suspect must be fully aware of situation
  • Seizure of the suspect
  • To have the authority to arrest

CITIZEN SATISFACTION

  • Citizen satisfaction plays a big role in my system.
  • Our police force wants to ensure citizen’s safety, but also make sure they feel safe and comfortable with their police force.

COMMUNITY POLICING

  • Our police force will approach community policing by trying encouraging citizens to prevent crime.
  • There will also informative seminars/programs throughout the community about the good of the police force, and our goals in that community.
