JOB DUTIES

• Police officers work in partnership with the communities to protect members of the public and their property.
• Interviewing suspects, witnesses Writing crime reports, Monitoring any suspicious activity of ongoing crimes
• Booking suspects and evidence and transporting them to the appropriate Police Department facility
• Responding to citizens’ and visitors’ questions
• Coordinating vehicular traffic

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• Earn at least a high school diploma or GED
