PRESENTATION OUTLINE
OUR HYPOTHESIS:
-If a plant is somehow blocked from the sun, it will grow towards it.
VARIABLES:
independent variable-how long the plant was facing the sun
dependent variable-how much the plant grew
MATERIALS:
1. Dixie Cup
2. Soil
3. Plant
4. Access to Sunlight
PROCEDURE:
Put soil in the Dixie cup. Plant the seedling. Put the cup near a window. Let the plant get sun on it for a few days, then check on it. Record your observations.
PROCEDURE CONT.
write down your hypothesis and variables.
OUR CONCLUSION:
Our hypothesis is correct because plants will always grow towards the sun to get maximum sunlight.
CONCLUSION CONT.
We know this because our plant grew slightly towards the window, which was where the sun was growing.
