QUESTIONS

• Does a plant grow better in the light or dark?

Hypothesis

• Our hypothesis is that the plant would grow better in the light.
• The independent variable is the light on the plant and the dependent variable how the plant grew.
• The controlled group is the plant in the light.

MATERIALS

• Dixie cups
• Box
• Plant
• Soil

Procedure
We put our plant in a box and cut a small hole in the side.we put one plant in the box and the other in the light to see which one grew better.

Conclusion
Our hypothesis was correct, the plant did grow better in light than in dark.
