Cell- Membrane covered structures that contain all of the needed materials for life. All living things are made of cells.

Cell Membrane- thin, semi-permeable layer that controls what goes in and out of the cell.

Cell Wall- only located in plant cells, giving the plants structure.

Chloroplasts- an organelle found in which photosynthesis occurs.

Cytoplasm- the jelly like inner part of the cell that holds the organelles.

Nucleus- usually the largest organelle in a cell, containing the DNA. Also known as the brain.
