How did I use it?
I added vivid descriptions of my expressions and actions I did after eating the omelette instead of just being like, “it was gross, I hated it.”

EVERY SCENE NEEDS A SETTING
If I didn’t, what it could have been - “I was going to Tokyo.” And - “It was breakfast.”
How did I use it?
I used descriptive language and actions to show what surrounding I was currently in and have them know both the setting and action in their minds while reading the story instead of just letting them have the action.

MAKE THE READER WONDER
If I didn’t, what it could have been - “Now I’m at the airport.”
How did I use it?
I allowed the reader to have a peek at what was happening later in the story, and then moving on the the beginning of the story. This would give them a change to wonder about what happened in the beginning and why did I regret it so much.
