Pink Floyd, founded on 1965 are an english rock band formed in London. Pink Floyd originally consisted of students Syd Barret, Roger Waters, Nick Mason, and Richard Wright.

IN 1967 DAVID GILMOUR JOINED AS THE FIFTH MEMEBER OF THE BAND.

AFTER BARRETT DEPARTURE WATERS BECAME THE BAND'S PRIMARY LYRICIST,

OF THE 14 ALBUMS OF PINK FLOYD 5 OF THE 14 WERE THE MOST HEARD

• These were their top songs. Although they had many but these are the most heard ones.
• Another brick in the wall ( all parts), The great gig in the sky, In the Flesh.
• Wish you were here, Comfortably numb, Dogs, Hey You, Pigs, Mother.

Wright left Pink Floyd in 1979, followed by Waters in 1985.


Gilmour and Mason continued as Pink Floyd and Wright subsequently joined them as a paid musician and later once again a full member.
