  • The pilgrims designed their homes after the English cottages from where they come.
  • The homes had tall pitched roofs which created a small room above the living area.
  • The roofs were made of thatch or straw.

DIET

  • They ate meet and butter and cheese . Cornbread and they drank milk . They also had chicken as food.
  • They also made food like cornbread

CLOTHING

  • The pilgrims wore many different types of clothing during the day.
  • Woman wore different things like a bonnet an apron a petticoat and a blouse.
  • Men wore short pants and long sleeve shirts and hats and fancy shoes.
  • Girls wore the same thing as their mother like blouses aprons bonnets petticoats.
  • Boys wore little hats and short pants and a long sleeve shirt and fancy shoes.
