pigs represent many things in different cultures

In China, the pig is the last of the

12 animals of the Chinese Zodiac.

since pigs are fat, they are used to

represent abundance and being plentiful

the Chinese character 家 is made of 宀roof and 豕 hog,

meaning that back then, a house was not complete without a pig

In the bible, pig (or swine) is represented as

one of the most unclean animals ever.

The Son Who Left And Returned Home

One day, the son of a wealthy man says

that he is an adult now and wants to leave the house

The father does not protest (although he is sad)

and gives him half of his wealth.

The son was irresponsible and spends all his

money partying until he was broke
