Twelve voices were shouting in anger, and they were all alike. No question now, what had happened to the faces of the pigs. The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again: but already it was impossible to say which was which. (Last paragraph of book)
This passage explains how the pigs went totally against all the animals morals and became "human". The pigs went back on their promise that they made at the beginning to never do anything that humans do and to stay as down to the earth animals. In actuality, nothing changes or even gets worse from the beginning to the end of the book. This passage shows how the pigs kind of turn into Mr. Jones and they even name the farm the Manor Farm which it was originally named when
Mr. Jones owned it.

""One of Orwell's goals in writing Animal Farm was to portray the Russian (or Bolshevik) Revolution of 1917 as one that resulted in a government more oppressive, totalitarian, and deadly than the one it overthrew. Many of the characters and events of Orwell's novel parallel those of the Russian Revolution: In short, Manor Farm is a model of Russia, and old Major, Snowball, and Napoleon represent the dominant figures of the Russian Revolution.""

Napoleon was a major influence in the takeover of Animal Farm. Napoleon symbolizes Joseph Stalin who became the head of Russia and was ruthless to get to the top. Napoleon chasing off Snowball was like Stalin chasing off Leon Trotsky who opposed Stalin's views. Napoleon connects to the theme of a struggle for power since he was ruthless to his opposition and led the animals to believe what he was doing was right with propaganda or in this case Squealer.
