Acceleration

An object speeding up or slowing down

Air Resistance

the force between an object moving through air

Balanced Force

A force that is equal to another that is going in the other direction

Friction

Energy that slows an object down

Gravity

The pull that keeps any object from floating g in mid air

Inertia

The tendancy of an object not to move

Gravitational Potential Energy

The energy an object poseses due to it's gravitational position

Potential Energy

the energy an object has that can potentially be used to move it's self of another object

Kinetic Energy

an object in motion

Newton's 1st Law

An object in motion tends to stay in motion and an object at rest tend to stay at rest unless an unbalanced force acts on it

Newton's 2nd  law

it takes a stronger push and/or pull to move a larger mass

Newton's 3rd Law

For every act there is an equal and opposite reaction

Speed

the distance divided by the total time it takes to travel across the area

Thrust

a push that propels an object in the opposite direction

Un-Balanced Forces

unequivelent objects and they cause another object to accelerate

Velocity

a speed in a certain direction

Force

a push or pull on an object
