Speed- Distance/Time

Average Speed- The overall rate of speed at which an object moves; calculated by dividing the total distance an object moves by the total time.

Velocity-Speed in a given direction

Acceleration-The rate at which velocity changes.

Slope-A surface of which one end or side Is at a higher level than another

Force- A push or a pull.

Newton- A unit of measure that equals the force required to accelerate 1 kilogram of mass at 1 meter per second.

Net Force- The combination of all forces acting on an object.

Unbalanced Force- An equal force acting in an object causing it to move in one direction.

Balanced Force- Equal forces acting on an object in opposite directions.

Energy- Capacity to cause change.
