PRESENTATION OUTLINE
Average Speed- The overall rate of speed at which an object moves; calculated by dividing the total distance an object moves by the total time.
Velocity-Speed in a given direction
Acceleration-The rate at which velocity changes.
Slope-A surface of which one end or side Is at a higher level than another
Newton- A unit of measure that equals the force required to accelerate 1 kilogram of mass at 1 meter per second.
Net Force- The combination of all forces acting on an object.
Unbalanced Force- An equal force acting in an object causing it to move in one direction.
Balanced Force- Equal forces acting on an object in opposite directions.
Energy- Capacity to cause change.
Potential Energy- stored energy.
Kinetic Energy- Energy in motion
