Job reflection and outlook
- Getting a patient with an extremely difficult past and having to constantly change their plan of care would be the most challenging thing I can think of
- Although, a positive perk would be helping a patient overcome what they thought was impossible. That's worth any challenge.
More on job reflection
- New trends would be this new thing called "autonomous practice' that is trying to get started. It means that there is more range to do whatever you want (as a physical therapist) with less restrictions
more trends
- It's termed one of the "hot jobs" of the next decade.
- Despite the economic downturn, physical therapy has not been affected by it
The future
- with all the robots and new technology being made, I feel that this job is one of the most secure ones. No robot can do this job like a human can.
- I personally see their almost being a "cap" on this career in the future. With it being s o in demand and competitive, I can see there being too many PT's
Local pt jobs
- Just by googling "jobs for physical therapy' dozens of places came up. Cities ranging from Livonia to Detroit, Rochester to Charter Township of Clinton, Warren, Shelby Township, and St. Clair Shores
pt benefits
- Physical Therapy benefits everyone because it gives people a chance to get their lives back. If it wasn't for my Physical Therapist helping me rehab my arm back to the way it was, I wouldn't be able to do half the things I can today.
The importance of physical therapy
- This career is important in our society because so many people are disabled, accidents happen, everyone deserves at least a chance to use all of their bodily functions again.
- I feel like this is a great career choice for me, I am inspired by the meaning and purpose of Physical Therapy, and I'm absolutely in love with the curriculum that comes with it.
