5 KEY POINTS ON PHOTOGRAPHY
2.
Position the subject off Centre
Your subject shouldn't be in the centre of the frame, but rather
positioned off centre- to the left, right, up or down.
You can also place your subject on any of intersection points
or along one of the four lines, like the flower in this photo

4.
BALANCE THE SUBJECT
"Balancing the subject" just means you put a secondary
subject (something of less importance) in the photo to
balance out the look of it, for example in this photo
the spider has more importance than the tree.

6.
DON'T CENTRE THE HORIZON
When shooting scenes that involve the horizon don't
place the horizon in the dead centre. This visually
cuts the photo in half and therefore wouldn't look
as engaging. In this photo I used the rule of thirds
to position the horizon just above the middle.

MAKE IT SYMMETRIC
There are a few ways to make your photo
symmetric. You might take photo on which both
sides of your photo are the same. Or you
Take a photo of something that itself is symmetrical.

10.
BREAK SYMMETRY
For this technique you are doing the opposite of
making symmetry. Instead you're trying to break it.
You can do this by either making one side of the photo
non symmetrical or in my example break symmetry
by only shooting part of it in the frame.
