  • Shooting hours start at 10 a.m. And end at sunset.
  • The best hours to hunt are at shooting time and right at sunset.
  • Roosters will range in weight from 3.5 to 4 lbs
  • Hens will range in weight from 2 to 2.5 lbs

  • Pheasants do not migrate, they stay local all year long
  • The ratio of hens to roosters is usually about 3:1
  • So you will kill way more hens than you will roosters
  • You use 7 1/2 in led shell while pheasant hunting
