CYRUS LED DEADLY ATTACKS IN THE THE REGION.

A WISE EMPEROR

  • Cyrus set up a policy of toleration.
  • This meant allowing people to keep their customs and beliefs.
  • The policy made governing the empire much easier.

DARIUS

  • The new emperor Darius l spent his first year dealing with bad people.
  • Darius started the use of Royal Road.
  • The Royal Road was 1,775 miles long.
  • Every 15 miles there was a relay station so the rider can get a fresh horse

ENEMIES

EGYPT WAS A BIG ENEMY. BUT DARIUS DIED TO HIS SON XERXES TOOK OVER
