  • Discovered in Scotland circa 1790
  • It was discovered by Adair Crawford William Cruickshank.

USES OF STRONTIUM

  • Fireworks
  • Making glass for color televisions
  • Used in toothpaste for sensitive teeth

RHENIUM

  • Symbol: Re
  • Color: Silvery-white
  • Is a solid at room temperature.

  • It was discovered by Walter Noddack, Ida Tacke, and Otto Berg.

USES OF RHENIUM

  • Used in alloys for jet engines
