Erbium

  • Erbium is known as a nuclear poison.
  • Erbium is very reactive to oxygen and water.

Titanium

  • Titanium is a very light element but is very dense
  • Titanium is used for hip transplants- very strong very light

Dysprosium

  • Used in nuclear fuel rods because it's very good at capturing neutrons.
  • Dysprosium looks a lot like tin foil.
  • When mixed with cadmium and sulfur, it could be used to create beams.

Promethium

  • Is hard to work with because it's highly radioactive.
  • There's not a lot of it on the Earth, so it's hard to experiment with.
  • Promethium is the only rare Earth elements that is radioactive.

Neodymiun

  • One of the rare earth elements.
  • It is used in laser pointers.
  • When used in compounds, and when it dissolves it comes out in colors.
