he is saying that he is not lying about loving her. he literally has nothing to hide but the deeper meaning is that the girl he loves is too insecure to realize how beautiful she truly is. He just wants her to love herself so he can love her as well. He does not have a better way to prove it to her so he confronts her and she is in complete denial. He then starts doubting himself and his looks and personality. Her faults are now hurting him.
