• Percussion is the largest music family.
• Percussion instruments usually sit in the left back of the orchestra.

PERCUSSION INSTRUMENTS

• A bass drum is the largest drum.
• Most pianos have 2 to 3 pedals.
• Xylophones have a range of 2 to4 octaves.
• A triangle makes a high ringing sound.
• Cymbals are 2 large dicks that you hit together.
