Penelope studied ballet at Spain's National Conservatory for 9 years
Her first job was being a background dancer and she later landed a job acting
Sophia Loren was one of Penelope's role models and was like a mother to her. She helped Penelope to achieve her goals and help her in tough times when her parents weren't there. As well as inspiring her to continue working in the fine arts of theatre and ballet.

She has also volunteered in a leprosy clinic with mother Teresa and founded an organization to help homeless girls in India
She has volunteered in worldwide countries such as Nepal, the Uganda, and India, helping the ill and poor

Penelope made her film debut in 1992
When she was 15 she beat out 300 other girls at a talent agency competition
She served as a spokes model for L'Oreal and also modeled for Ralph Lauren.
Penelope dated Tom Cruise and Matthew Mcconaughey before marrying Javier Bardem in 2010.

2.) In what ways was the life admirable? Penelope's life was admirable in many ways. She has done so much for the world and less fortunate, while she also holds an acting career to provide for her kids. She is a role model for America and her home country.
7.) What are a few lessons you or any other young person can learn from this person? From her life you can learn integrity and passion. Penelope shows that her hard work and passion has gotten her to many good places. We can all learn that hard work can also help us to achieve our dreams and passions.
