PEER PRESSURE

THE PROPHET'S WAYS
Prophets had much trouble during their time and were often persecuted for telling the truth
Their main job was to provide warnings, give comfort, & promise a better future
people often did not want to hear what they said though
They were put under a lot of pressure to stop, but continued being faithful to God
We can learn a lot from how they handled their enormous amount of responsibility

FACING THE PROBLEMS HEAD ON
Peer pressure will always exist
The way to avoid it is to listen to your conscience
The real problem is can you say no
"And what does the lord require of you? To act justly and to
love mercy and to walk humbly with your God (Micah 6:8)."

YOU CREATE YOUR OWN LIFESTYLE
Be Independent
Don't be dependent on others
Don't fall under the influence of anything negative
Follow what is right, not what is always fun

THINK BEFORE YOU ACT
Many kids these days are under the influnce
of drugs, alcohol, and bullying.
We must focus on the well being of our future
Because our future can change depending on
the actions we do today
