Credit Cards

  • A small plastic card issued by a financial company.
  • Magnetic strip on the back.
  • When swiped through a card reader, the owner of the card is borrowing money from the financial company.
  • Purchases can also be made on the internet by inputting the credit card information.

Debit Cards

  • A small plastic card issued by a financial company.
  • Magnetic strip on the back.
  • When swiped through a card reader and a Personal Identification Number (PIN) is enter, the owner of the card is transferring funds from the owner’s bank account.

On-line Banking

  • A type of on-line payment.
  • A process of using the internet to make a payment.
  • The account owner is required to input secure information.
  • By accessing the owner’s bank account, the money will be withdrawn out of the account for payment.
