PASSWORD SAFETY

ARE YOU SURE IT'S SAFE?

A STRONG PASSWORD...

  • Does not contain your name(even if it is muddled about)
  • Does not contain a complete word.
  • Uses different characters e.g. Upper and lower cases and numbers and symbols.

HOW LONG WOULD IT TAKE TO CRACK AN ONLY LOWERCASE PASSWORD?

MAKING A MEMORABLE PASSWORD

  • Make a compound word out of something significant to you: like MyDogFido
  • Connect the first letters of a sentence, e.g, My Dog Fido Is Brown becomes MDFIB
  • A few words and combine the Letters: My Dog Fido turns into Mdfyoigdo
  • A phrase- "Fido Is My Dog"
  • Substitution: F!d0 i$ m¥ D0g

I HOPE YOU HAVE LEARNT A FEW TIPS
