Estructura gramatical

El pasado continuo se construye de la siguiente forma.
Sujeto+was/were+verbo terminado en ing.
El pasado continuo se utiliza también para referimos a dos acciones en el pasado, una de las cuales se completó, mientras que la otra continuaba, para una se utiliza el pasado simple y para la otra el pasado continuo.
First. Past continuous.
Grammar structure
Past continuous is constructed as follows.
Subject + was / were + verb ending in ing.
The past continuous is also used to refer to two actions in the past, one of which was completed while the other continued, for the simple and to the other the past continuous past is used.
conector when.
significa "cuando".
"when" introduce una actividad que es una corta interrupcion o ocurre en casi el mismo tiempo o poco despues de la otra actividad.
se coloca al inicio o en medio de las oraciones.
connector when.
means "cuando".
"then" introduces an activity which is a short interruption or occurs at nearly the same time or shortly after the other activity.
placed at the beginning or in the middle of sentences.
ESTRUCTURA.
Sujeto+was/were+verbo de acción(en pasado continuo)+conector+la oración (en pasado simple).
STRUCTURE.
Subject + was / were + action verb (past continuous) + connector + prayer (simple past).
EJEMPLOS:
FORMA INTERROGATIVA.
Pregunta -Was she sleeping when her father arrived?
Respueta -Yes, she was.
Ejemplo.When we were watching a movie, my friend called.
(Cuando estábamos viendo una película, mi amigo llamó).
EJEMPLO.
pedro was watching tv when the light went off.
(pedro estaba viendo la televisión cuando la luz se apagó)
