What is Down Syndrome?

Down Syndrome is a congenital disorder arising from a chromosome defect. It causes intellectual impairments and physical abnormalities.

Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder is a problem of not being able to focus, being overactive, not being able to control behavior, or a combination of these.

What are Speech and Language Impairments?

Speech and Language Impairments include childhood apraxia, stuttering, voice, dysarthria, orofacial myofunctional disorders, and speech sound disorders: articulation and phonological processes. Language disorders include language-based learning disabilities, preschool language disorders, and selective mutism, just to name a few.
