PANDA PROBLEMS

• In this world there are about 1600 panda bears in existence.
• One of the pandas main problems is habitat loss to people
• Pandas use hollow tree trucks and stone caves as their dens for their cubs
• But the more people expand into the forests the less dens there are.
• Scientists have tried making man made panda dens and it seems to help

Pandas eat 4-5 different
kinds of bamboo
And one off the problems
with bamboo
Is that after it plants it's seeds
the plant dies.

PANDA PARENTS

• Female panda can only give birth once every 2 years.
• A mother may have 1-2 cubs at a time but can only take car of one.
• If a panda in captivity has twins then scientists will take one and rase it them self.

• Scientists are trying to find a way to make pandas mate for repopulation.

COMMUNICATION

• Scientist aren't sure yet but they have noticed that
• Pandas seem to leave different scents on rocks and trees for-
• Other pandas to find scientist are still researching.

poaching was the main problem for the panda population before pandas were protected by law and even then they were still hunted because their pelts cost so much on the black market. 🎋🔫
