  • There two continents are Central and South America .
  • They are bordered by the Pacific and Atlantic I Ocean.

HISTORY

  • 1831 was when Panama first became a part of Columbia.
  • But then in 1903 Panama declared independence over Columbia.
  • In the year of 1907 construction began on the Panama Canal.
  • Then in 1914 the construction was complete.

PEOPLE/LIFESTYLE

  • The population in Panama is 3,657,024 people.
  • One of the main jobs for the people in Panama is anything and everything that has to do with the Panama Canal.
  • One thing people like to do is play sports, there mane sports are soccer and baseball.

CULTURE

  • One piece of Panama's culture is they always eat rice for every meal.
  • Another part is they love there favorite holiday Carnaval.
  • Also many people think that there name came from a native word that means "Abundance of fish."
  • And they love to play and sing all about love and life.

GOVERNMENT

  • The ruler or president of Panama is Juan Carlos Varela.
  • Democracy is the type of Government Panama runs.
