  • 73% of people get first tattoo between 18-22
  • 40% Millennials have a tattoo
  • 15% Boomer have a tattoo
  • 31% of HR managers are more likely not to hire
  • 14% of college graduates have a tattoo

The Civil Rights Act of 1964 and EPA (Equal Pay Act) have been passed in the last few decades. The CRA of 1964 made it illegal of an employer to discriminate against sex or race when hiring employees but not on body modification.

  • 16% of companies actually have a no tattoo dresscode in their policy
  • Starbucks is 100% against visible tattoos
  • Quailifications have no bearing on if you have tattoos
  • No laws that protect tattooed workers in the workplace
