THE THREE TYPES OF MATTER
A gas is a type of air that is called helium (HEE lee uhm). Helium is example of a gas that is used to inflate balloons
A liquid is oxygen that we drink. A liquid is used to make milk to sodas. Liquids dont take up a definite shape because its particles move.
A solid takes up a definite amount space cause its made up of different materials.

HOW PARTICLES MOVE
A gases particles move faster because they spread apart
A liquids particles move slow because they are packed less tightly than solids
The solids particles are packed together to keep the shape of the object. When a solid hits a hard surface it will make a dint in the odject.

EXAMPLES OF MATTER!!!!!!
Orange juice is an example of a liquid because when you shake it around the particles will bounce around causing the liquid to bounde and make a mess.
Helieum is a type of gas used toinflate balloons.
A saxyphone is a solid because it takes a definite amount of space, its particles are packed together and it is very hard.
