HISTORY

• In 1545, cannibus was first introduced into the Western Hemisphere.
• A little later, in North America it was utilized in the form of hemp.
• Cannabis then started growing on plantations in North America.

MEDICINAL USE

• The prohibition of marijuana has restricted the medical use for patients in some states.
• Cannabis can treat pain, especially pain associated with nerve damage.
• It also relieves pain in glaucoma and multiple sclerosis.
• Marijuana also may be able to protect the human body from malignant tumors.
• Also, it protects nerve cells from damage.

INDUSTRIAL USE

• All parts of the plant are used.
• The seeds are used for animal feed.
• The oil is used for paint.
• The fiber is used for hemp.
• Also, it is used in everyday items like shampoo, lotions, and make-up.
