The three different types of learning are tactile, auditorial, and visual.

If you need to be hands-on to understand a topic, you're most likely a tactile learner. If you need to hear instructions, you're most likely an auditorial learner. Finally, if you need to see instructions on paper, you're most likely a visual learner.

TACTILE LEARNERS

If you qualify as a tactile learner, you learn by touching. You remember things through physical contact. A tactile learner prefers to touch, move, or build what you learn, and you seem to learn better when any type of physical activity is involved.

AUDITORY LEARNERS

Auditory learning is when a person learns through listening. An auditory learner depends on hearing and speaking as a definite way of learning. Hearing a teacher lecture is easier to understand for you. Audio books most likely help you understand a book rather than reading it.

VISUAL LEARNERS

Visual learning is when concepts, data, and other information are better understood with images and techniques. Highlighting, drawing, circling notes helps you understand and remember information more.
