TORNADOS

  • Tornados has it's own color, shape and sound
  • A tornado is a rapidly spinning tube of air that touches both the ground and a cloud above.
  • Tornadoes are sometimes called twisters.
  • Most tornadoes travel a few miles before exhausting themselves.
  • Most tornadoes have wind speeds less than 100 miles per hour

DROUGHT

  • A drought can last for months or years.
  • It can have a substantial impact on the ecosystem.
  • Since 1920 over 11 million people have died in droughts
  • After a drought there is a lot of rain
  • No water

Volcanos
1- when two or more tectonic plates are ether convering or divering
2-it's kills both livestock and mammals.
3-the volcanic soil cools off,so then plants will start growing
4-there are three kinds of volcanos
5-volcanos erupt because of magma escaping from Beneath the earths crust

Hurricanes
1- start when warm, moist air from the ocean surface begins to rise rapidly
2-it impacts on homes, and communities.
3- also have a profound effect on the environment.
4-most hurricanes rage harmlessly in the sea.
5-hurricanes have male and female names.

Earthquakes
1-earths crust creates seismic waves.
2-the seismic activity of an area refers to the frequency.
3-earth quakes are the natures most dangerous calamity.
4-earth quakes can hit any place,at any time,and at any extreme level.
5-Earthquakes involve the powerful movement of rocks in the Earth’s crust. The rapid release of energy creates seismic waves that travel through the earth.

Tsunamis
1-series of water waves caused by the displacement of a large volume of a body of water.
2-
These waves can reach heights of over 100 feet.
3-The first wave of a tsunami is usually not the strongest, successive waves get bigger and stronger.
4-If caught by a tsunami wave, it is better not to swim, but rather to grab a floating object and allow the current to carry you.
5-it can destroy property's and kill humans

Wild forest fires
1-a uncontrolled fire in a area of combustible vegetation that occurs in the country side or wilderness area.
2-More than 80 percent of all wildfires are started by humans.
3-it burns down everything in its path etc. tress,brushes,homes,even humans.
4-Wild forest fires have been causing destruction for 1000′s of years.
5-In the past, when a forest fire started it was left to burn.

Floods
1- the water tops or breaks levels, resulting in some of that water escaping it's usual boundaries.
2-HUGE amount of water.
3-No region is safe from flooding. All 50 states are subject to flash floods.
4-Flash floods can bring walls of water from 10 to 20 feet high.
5-floods are the most widespread natural disaster aside from wildfires.
