• I live in a suburban neighborhood in south Austin (78745)
• Fortunate to live in a neighborhood with a majority of senior-citizens
• some of the homes in the area are of low-income families
• lots of immigrants from all over (Mexicans, French, Northeast US, German)

What category do I fall on the political spectrum?

I am a solid liberal.

Personal Bias on the Gov't and Society

• Society: values aren't quite right. We value money rather than prosperity
• Society: not everyone is provided with the same opportunity, i.e. immigrant
• and low income families
• Gov't: focused in foreign affairs rather than problems within the nation
• Gov't: aren't paying enough attention to environmental issues at stake

Major Influences

• My dad is the ex. of the working class immigrant who is restricted rights
• Most of my siblings are strong influences 
• My older brother Hugo is often shares beliefs about the environment  
• close friends that I hang out w/ often also share most of the same beliefs
