Ecosystem
An ecosystem is a community of living organisms (plants, animals and microbes) in conjunction with the nonliving components of their environment (things like air, water and mineral soil), interacting as a system.

An ecosystem is evident in this terrarium because water cycle is happening in this environment. Plants are living and there are biotic and abiotic factors in this environment.

Water cycle
The water cycle, also known as the hydrologic cycle or the H2O cycle, describes the continuous movement of water on, above and below the surface of the Earth. The water moves from one reservoir to another, such as from river to ocean, or from the ocean to the atmosphere, by the physical processes of evaporation, condensation, precipitation, infiltration, runoff, and subsurface flow.

Water Cycle is evident in this environment because we can see water going up and down in the terrarium. Which is precipitation, condensation and many more steps in the water cycle we can see in this little environment.

Journal

Everyone brought materials during the project making so we had no problem with it. Everyone was participating well so I have no complaints as well. We can see that water cycle is happening in this environment so we could see that we had a working terrarium. We only had problems during Day 3 because someone broke our terrarium and the water cycle was not working well.
