  • All knowing
  • Can see into the thoughts of all characters
  • Not a character in the story
  • Almost never refer to themselves

  • Character in the story
  • Only gives insight into their own mind
  • Commonly uses the word "I"
  • Should never be trusted, check for credibility
  • Sometimes called a persona

  • Talks about a certain character as someone else
  • Commonly uses the words he and she
  • Info on other characters is very limited

TONE AND VOICE
