Recipe for Baked Mac & Cheese

BAKED MAC & CHEESE

FROM THE KITCHEN OF KATIE HALIN

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 3 TBS flour
  • 3 TBS butter
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1 TSP dry mustard
  • 1 TSP salt
  • 1/2 TSP pepper
  • 2 1/2 cups milk
  • 8 oz elbow pasta

COOKING INSTRUCTIONS

  • Cook pasta according to package directions; drain
  • While pasta is cooking, melt butter in large skillet and sauté onions until soft
  • Gradually add milk, stirring continuously
  • Stir in seasonings
  • Add cheese, stirring until melted
  • Mix in cooked pasta

COOKING INSTRUCTIONS CONTINUED

  • Spoon pasta mixture into greased casserole dish
  • Bake at 350 for 30 minutes, or until hot

VOILA! FINISHED PRODUCT!
