Who?

• Each and every child
• Grades 3 - 8 & 11
• Eligible for an alternate assessment
• In the State of Vermont
• Must participate in the DLM.

What?

• The DLM is a web-based system 
• Includes PD & Learning Map, aligned with the CCSS
• Allows for linkage level and accessibility differentiation 
• Includes both formative and summative elements
• What on the DLM has surpassed your expectations?

Where?

• Online using laptop, PC or IPAD (app)
• Requires download of KITE client & Mozilla browser
• Partners include KU, FPG and The Arc
• How have you managed technological glitches?

When?

• Phase C: 1/5/15 - 3/6/15
• Spring Testing Window (summative) 3/30/15 - 5/15/15
• Next year's testing windows will be different
• Any thoughts about the length of each testing window?

How?

• Complete roster, First Contact Survey, PNP
• Blueprint guides Essential Element (EE) selection
• Instructional Tools Interface (ITI) facilitates EE selection
• Assign Testlets, print or save Testlet Info Page (TIP)
• Questions around EEs and Testlets?

• Ensures access to authentic academic content
• Provides a map for learning
• Comprehensively covers a wide range of student needs 
• Map, EEs align with CCSS

If you were wondering about. . .

• EEs: EEs should be mindfully chosen with the help of Blueprints
• Looking ahead: Plot out your year, reserve some EEs for each window
• EE retests:  System generated, when possible
