PRESENTATION OUTLINE

SPECIALIST

  • A specialist can only survive in a specified inviorment that fits their needs
  • If the enviorment was to change a specialist would struggle to survive

GENERALIST

  • Generalists can survive in a wide variety of environments
  • Can also idealize a variety of different resources

CONFORMER

  • These animals "conform" or form adaptations to their environment
  • Mostly cold blooded species

REGULATOR

  • These types of animals do not change to their environment but have their own set temperature
  • Example: Warm blooded animals

MUTUALISM

  • Two different species work together and benifit from one another

PARASITISM

  • There are two species and one species benifits from the other by harming it

COMMENSALISM

  • There are two species and one benifits from the other and neither are harmed

PREDATION

  • There are two species where one species will benefit from the other by killing them

COMPETITION

  • The interaction between two species where one of the animals fitness is lowered by the other
