Theme
The theme is about a girl by herself on a island. Then there is a bad storm and the house is gone. The lesson is to never give up.

Problem
The problem is that a girl is on a island by herself and her dad is on the sea. Dad's boat rudder breaks and there is a big storm coming. A group of tourists are on a boat coming to the island and they don't like the tourists.
Resolution
The resolution is to hide from the tourists and make them go somewhere else. Then she called for help.
Summary
Nim Rusoe is a girl who joins her father, a scientist, when he does research on marine life on an island. It's just the two of them but she spends her time making friends with all the animals she encounters, chatting on the computer and reading the adventure books of Alex Rover. When her father goes to do some research but when a storm strikes the island he doesn't come back, she gets worried and frightened. She then e-mails Alex Rover hoping that he will come but what she doesn't know is that Alex Rover is a woman who is agoraphobic and germaphobic. But her creation comes to life and eggs her to go. And she does problem is that she has never gone anywhere and is denied her necessities like her sanitary gel by the customs officer at the airport. In the meantime, Nim tries to be strong while waiting for Alex to arrive.
Who I am most like
I am like Nim because I am brave and she is brave. Nim is adventures and I am too. We can both climb trees. We both can fight people off.

Favorite part
My favortie part is at the end. At the end dad's boat gets fixed and comes home. Then Alex rover comes to the island and they meet.

Life time event
One life time event was the first time my parents left me home by myself. We were selling our camper and a bunch of people we're come in our yard. I went and hid in my house because I though they were trying to rob us.
